After all the rain we had last year, it became pretty clear that water management is more important than ever. Ditch management is often overlooked and slowly these important infrastructures become filled with silt, debris and vegetation making them redundant and consequently fields that are liable to flooding.

This particular ditch which had become completely overtaken with trees and vegetation which meant a job for our CAT Digger and tree shear.

Using the excavator we removed the trees, silt and debris from within the ditch and graded the sides to put the ditch 'back in' to full duties. The finished job created a tidy, clean and usable infrastructure, that would aid in allowing water to flow freely off the field and in turn more productive agricultural farming land.
