With fencing grants coming back into the picture for many farms, a lot of people have already starting thinking about upgrading their boundaries, replacing tired stock fencing or planning new layouts for the year ahead. While we don’t get involved in the application process itself, we do install fencing that meets the strong, reliable specifications often expected when grants are involved.

Grants usually come with their own specifications which often change each year to differentiate fencing completed under each one.

Specs often includes things like:

  • Strong, well-braced strainers and corners

  • Correct post size and depth

  • Consistent specified post spacing

  • High-tensile stock net suited to sheep or mixed livestock

  • Style and qty of plain/barb strands

  • A tidy, accurate finish that stays tight over time

These details aren’t just box-ticking, they’re what make a fence last. A well-built stock fence saves time, saves hassle and keeps sheep and cattle exactly where they should be.

Fencing work we’ve carried out this year

We’ve been busy with a wide range of fencing projects across farms and rural properties, including:

  • New sheep fencing

  • Full boundary replacements

  • Livestock fencing and dividing paddocks

  • Equestrian fencing

  • Post and rail

  • Repairs and upgrades to tired or storm-damaged sections

  • Grant fencing

  • Gateway Repairs

Every job is different, so we build fencing to suit the land, the stock and the way the space needs to work for you.
