When it comes to fencing that balances functionality with rural elegance, post and rail is hard to beat especially for equestrian settings. One of our latest projects in Cheshire perfectly highlights how smart fencing choices can elevate the look and practicality of a property designed for horses and countryside living.

What We Installed

This project involved fencing around a newly laid concrete pad with stables. The client needed the area to feel open yet secure, with three access points leading to key areas on the property. We installed:

  • Traditional Post and Rail Fencing – A strong and smart looking solution, perfect for equestrian environments and rural spaces.

  • Three Custom Gateways:

    • One leading to the field for turnout

    • One providing access to the main property for riding and vehicles

    • One connecting to the dog kennels for ease of movement and care

The result is a neat, efficient layout that supports everyday tasks while keeping everything well contained.

Designed with Equestrian Living in Mind

Post and rail fencing is a top choice for clients with horses, pets or livestock and for good reason. It offers:

  • A clean, rural aesthetic that blends beautifully with the landscape

  • Visibility and safety for animals, especially horses

  • Practical access with custom gates and layout options

  • Long-term durability using pressure-treated timber

Whether you’re looking to secure a stable yard, create paddock boundaries or upgrade a property with a traditional countryside feel, post and rail fencing is a fantastic option.
